How do I book a holiday?
All it takes is one call to us and one of our experienced consultants will be glad to assist you. We believe in chatting to our clients and advising them of the various options of accommodation. This makes for a more personal experience than online bookings.
Can we bring our pets along?
We all love our pets very much and would love to take them along with us on holiday, but unfortunately, all timeshare resorts, hotels and some holiday apartment complexes does not allow for pets.
Is it safe to book my holiday through a letting agent?
It is safe to book through a letting agent only if they are registered and certified with organisations such as the EAAB (Estate Agency Affairs Board). This factor gives a person, peace of mind that their bookings are safe and should a problem arise, they have an organisation to go to. Booking through private companies with no certification of authenticity can prove to be catastrophic especially when one has to lay out large sums of money for their holidays. Umhlanga Sun is registered and certified with the EAAB (Estate Agency Affairs Board).
How do I rent my timeshare?
This is a simple exercise. Our clients approach us by telephone or email and request for a quote on their timeshare. We send an estimate return to them. They usually forward us the completed ATL’s (Authority to let forms) giving us the go ahead to let the units on their behalf. We then place the timeshare units on our books for rental. Once the units have been let, we contact our clients and pay them accordingly.
Do I have to own timeshare to book a holiday?
No. One doesn’t have to own timeshare to book a holiday with us at one of our timeshare resorts or holiday apartments.
Can teenagers occupy units without adult supervision?
NO! Due to past years experience where teenagers together became rowdy and unruly, usually incurred harmful damages to the property and to themselves. It has been unanimously decided by management to only allow teenagers to occupy a unit if they are accompanied by someone 21 years of age or older who will stay for the duration of the booking. These stays usually occur during the matric rage week between the end of November and the 1 st or second week of December.
