Activities

The resort offers a wide range of activities including fishing, boating, sundowner cruises on the lake, pitch and putt golf, tennis, squash, volleyball and mountain biking. One can take a guided hike or horse ride and experience the true majesty of the Drakensberg. If you fancy a round of golf, the excellent Champagne Sports Golf Course is a mere five minutes away.

Eating Out

The resort boasts a fabulous restaurant, which looks on the resort’s private lake and offers an excellent buffet and a la carte menu. One can enjoy a delicious alfresco lunch on the balcony, a picnic in the mountains, or a braai under the African sky.  A must for all whilst at the Berg, before retiring for the night, visit “The Flying Trout”, a merry little pub that exudes warmth and friendliness. You will indeed take home memories.
